BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
The Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions(CCCU) pays tribute to the Jamaica Co-operative credit Union League (JCCUL) for the part it played in the founding of the CCCU.
JCCUL’s contributions have made a lasting impact, and CCCU is truly grateful for the trust that has been invested in the partnership between the institutions. It is noteworthy that during the difficult years, the CCCU was buoyed up by the financial assistance offered by JCCUL.
Over the years JCCUL has continued as a functional member of the CCCU by supporting the regional body in several ways; through its hosting of Conventions and annual general meetings in Jamaica, and the continued funding of the Development Foundation.
In the 50+ years of the CCCU, JCCUL has furthered the work of the regional body by nominating seven of its executive members including Presidents, to serve at the helm of the CCCU.
CCCU salutes JCCUL for its unwavering commitment to the work of the regional body.
