CARIBBEAN CREDIT UNION HOUSE BUILDING FUND APPEAL
The Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions [CCCUJ] was formed in 1972 in Dominica and was previously headquartered in Barbados but relocated to St. Kitts in 2002.
The current headquarters building which is owned by the CCCU is more than 70 years old and unfortunately in a state of disrepair and has been deemed unfit for further occupation, resulting in our relocation. To facilitate the construction of our new home and to continue to preserve the legacy of Credit Union Development in the Caribbean, the financial assistance of our Leagues, Credit Unions and their members is urgently required.
Our new home will primarily house: CCCU’S Administrative Offices. A Credit Union Museum. Conference Facilities. APPEAL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS The new building is estimated to cost US$1.2 million and significant grants and donations is critical to our ability to meet this cost. While efforts have started, we are still a long way from achieving this target. We sincerely thank the following Leagues and Credit Unions who have contributed to date.
We realize that this cannot be accomplished overnight and hence seek annual contributions for at least a 3-year period. All contributors will be suitably honoured and any institution contributing US$100,000 will have the conference room and museum named in their honour.
